PerBlogging At The Gates of Dawn

Today has been, as you kids say, "teh suck."

I should clarify; things have actually worked out remarkably well, but the process by which these things were worked out was the locus of the above mentioned suck. It's just been a really long day, and one chock with work at that.

Got about five hours sleep. Webmeistering at 8:00, CMDA data-coding starting at noon, class at 5:45, holding down the fort in the computer lab for Sarah (who's home sick today) until 10:00. Today I have ingested three mugs of coffee and two pudding cups... and yet, things went pretty well. Made headway on one webmeister task, got another nailed down, got my data coded, did my brief presentation... all seems quiet here. I just want to go home and relax, but I'll have to do work when I get there. Sigh.

That said... everything worked out pretty well. Things always seem to work out. Maybe not the way I envisioned, or maybe hoped, but they work out. I guess there's probably a lesson in there, if one were inclined to pay attention to it.

Onward and upward, westward the wagons, whatever. Not sure what I'll devote my energies to this evening... some random web work, I think. That leaves an assignment and a half worth of stuff for our reference class tomorrow afternoon and tomorrow evening, then an article review and an abstract for Thursday. Not too bad, all in all.

I'm just really, REALLY tired. :)

Okay, I'm out... going home, where Sarah has reportedly made some kind of a potato curry soup. I will also be enjoying a Sapporo and more than a few wasabi peanuts.
